TCAAP / Rice Creek Commons – My experienced leadership is a strong voice for Arden Hills.

TCAAP/Rice Creek Commons is both our communities greatest challenge and one of our greatest opportunities. This 427-acre development must reflect the vision of Arden Hills residents. A vision that includes a variety of housing types, thriving businesses, inviting parks and trails, and exceptional community amenities.
As your Mayor, I will continue to listen to you as we work together towards this outstanding expansion to our City. Under my leadership, we will achieve our goals for TCAAP while protecting the character and financial future of Arden Hills.
As Mayor, I have already shown that I can lead on TCAAP. I completed the first road connection between County Road H and County Road I. As Mayor, I led the negotiations that established a commitment to having one master developer build the project.
Now more than ever we need strong city leadership since circumstances have changed. Ramsey County has moved away from that approach and plans to sell parcels to multiple developers. I will not support additional increases in density . Our community deserves certainty, not last-minute changes that reshape burdens and expectations.
I will stand up forArden Hills—not outside interests. I will insist on transparency, protect taxpayers from unnecessary financial risk, and make sure the TCAAP expansion to our City pays its fair share of the costs created by its development. Under my planning and leadership, current residents and businesses will not have additional tax costs due to the TCAAP development.
I will work to make sure the development remains coherent and financially responsible. It will reflect the uniqueness and vibrancy of the Arden Hills and fit our community.
Growth should strengthen our community, not place an unfair burden on the residents and businesses who already call Arden Hills home. With my experienced, thoughtful leadership, I will insure that that this enormous opportunity is an outstanding addition to our City that benefits residents and businesses for generations to come.
